Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 7, 2025

R&R Computer Solutions ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy describes what we collect, how we use it, and your choices. Our website and services are intended for organizations and adult individuals. We do not target or provide services for children.

What We Collect

  • Information you provide: When you email, call, or otherwise contact us, you may provide your name, organization, email address, phone number, and the content of your message.
  • Technical information: Like most websites, our hosting provider may collect basic server logs (e.g., IP address, browser type, pages viewed, date/time) for security and reliability.
  • Cookies: We use only what’s necessary to operate the site. We do not use advertising cookies or create profiles for marketing.

How We Use Information

  • Respond to inquiries and provide requested services.
  • Operate, secure, and improve our website and systems.
  • Maintain necessary business records and comply with legal obligations.

Hosted Services We Provide

We host and manage certain services for clients, such as cloud backup, mailing lists for client organizations, and a Grist instance for data management (collectively, “Hosted Services”).

Customer Data Ownership

For Hosted Services, any data that you or your organization upload, store, or process using our systems (“Customer Data”) belongs to you. We do not claim ownership over Customer Data. We do not share, rent, trade, or sell Customer Data. We do not use Customer Data for our own marketing or product development without your explicit, prior consent.

Our Role and Processing Basis

We access and process Customer Data only as reasonably necessary to provide, maintain, secure, back up, and support the Hosted Services, to prevent or address service or security issues, to comply with law, or as otherwise instructed by you. Use of the Hosted Services grants us the right to perform the technical operations required to deliver them, including transmitting, storing, backing up, and scanning data for security, integrity, and reliability.

Service Providers and Subprocessors

We use reputable third‑party infrastructure, software, and storage providers to operate our website and Hosted Services. These providers act as our subprocessors and may process personal information and Customer Data solely to deliver the contracted services to us. We require appropriate confidentiality, security, and data protection commitments from these providers. We do not permit them to use information for their own purposes.

Sharing

We do not share, rent, trade, or sell personal information with third parties. We may use infrastructure providers (for example, website hosting, storage/backup, email delivery, and application hosting) to operate our services. These providers process information solely on our behalf and under confidentiality obligations.

Backups and Retention for Hosted Services

To enhance reliability and disaster recovery, we maintain backups for Hosted Services. Backup retention schedules vary by system and are designed for service continuity—not for long‑term archival unless explicitly arranged with you. Upon termination of services or your request, we will delete Customer Data from active systems and, within a reasonable period, from backups, subject to legal obligations and technical limitations.

Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described above or as required by law. We delete or anonymize information when it’s no longer necessary.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

Your Responsibilities

For Hosted Services, you are responsible for the content of Customer Data and for ensuring you have the right to process it. Where applicable, please provide appropriate notices to and obtain any required permissions from the individuals whose information you store in the Hosted Services.

Your Choices

  • You may contact us to access, correct, or delete your information, subject to legal limits.
  • You can configure your browser to block or delete cookies; essential site features may be affected.

Do Not Track

We do not use tracking cookies or targeted advertising. Browser “Do Not Track” signals do not change our limited practices.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest changes. Material updates will be posted on this page.
